Nowadays, there are very few activities that do not require support from information technology (IT). As a business IT specialist, you will gain an insight into the economic processes of a company and map these in an IT-based system. In addition to information technology, you will also work in departments such as purchasing, sales, finance and human resources and actively participate in the design and development of innovative IT solutions. Due to the rapid development of the technical framework conditions, new opportunities will constantly arise for business IT specialists to optimize the interaction between people, organizations and IT.

Duration of training: 3 years
Cooperative State University: Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg (DHBW)

Your requirements

Qualification: A-levels or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences with a pass in the DHBW aptitude test.

We expect you to have an interest in business, an affinity for IT and an interest in mathematics. Initial programming knowledge is an advantage, but not essential.

Your opportunities

A double advantage: during your studies, you are a student on the one hand and a trainee on the other. During your studies, you will acquire theoretical knowledge at the university and switch from there to practical phases in the company every 12 weeks. Not only will you get to know all the relevant areas of the company, you will also gain a high level of practical and social skills.
