Musashi Europe Group and its related operating subsidiaries (collectively, the “Company”) are committed to conducting business in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and the highest standards of business conduct. This Code of Conduct (the “Code”) has been adopted to assist the Company's management in complying with these standards. It applies to all members of the Board of Directors (each an “Advisor” and collectively the “Board”), officers, directors and other members of senior management.
The Supply Chain Duty of Care Act occupies a key position in Musashi Europe's procurement strategy. It is a promising instrument to realize a sustainable and long-term successful procurement strategy in the company. Musashi Europe is committed to the requirements of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act regarding corporate due diligence obligations and undertakes to fulfill them consistently and emphatically. The increasing integration of MEU into global procurement and sales markets offers both opportunities and challenges. New markets and production sites are being developed creating jobs and prosperity. At the same time, however, risks also arise due to a lack of transparency and a potential lack of enforcement of internationally recognized human rights in supply chains.
The management of Musashi Europe and Musashi Europe as a whole are committed to respecting human rights in our own business activities as well as in our global supply and value chain and to providing access to remedy for those affected by human rights violations. In doing so, we align our business activities with the internationally recognized United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
