With our new vision “Go Far Beyond” in mind, each of us has become an adventurer. We have started to create a path to the future in line with the Musashi philosophy: for “a world where the earth and people coexist in prosperity and harmony”.
To create an organization that adapts to the changing times or business environment and continuously innovates, we aim to develop “highly motivated and independent people who embrace the challenges of change”. In other words: independent, professional employees.
Considering the Musashi philosophy as the core competence of our HR development, we will proactively offer new opportunities to develop skills in innovation and digitalization that focus on realizing the vision.
The basis for this is a range of tailored, professional and social training courses so that our employees feel optimally prepared for their work. All our training courses are independent of age, job position or professional field. Through annual qualification interviews, all employees can express their development and training wishes and work together with Musashi on a progressive future.
We offer various training opportunities so that our employees can act independently and professionally while at the same time finding satisfaction in their work.
Internalizing the Musashi philosophy and compliance:
All Musashi employees receive philosophy and compliance training as part of their onboarding so that they can learn and internalize the Musashi Way, our standards and values.
Learning job-specific skills:
Each department plays an important role in learning specialized knowledge or skills. That's why Musashi has department/job-specific training programs.
Learning additional knowledge and skills:
Regardless of the job position, our employees can develop additional skills such as English or business etiquette.
We offer our employees various working models so that they can work independently and flexibly. These are adapted to the needs of different employee groups. These include, for example:
Family-friendly working hours:
Thanks to the various options such as part-time and flextime, our employees can organize their working hours flexibly - adapted to their individual needs.
Re-employment after retirement:
Our system enables continued employment for employees after retirement who wish to voluntarily extend their working hours. They can work on a full-time basis or for a few days a week.
Partial retirement model:
Our employees who have reached the age of 57 have the opportunity to take advantage of the partial retirement model for a flexible transition to retirement. This enables Musashi to maintain long-term working relationships with our employees and to maintain the transfer of knowledge without losing a lot of valuable knowledge.
T-ZUG:
For employees with children, relatives in need of care or working shifts, our employees can apply for up to eight additional days off instead of the collectively agreed additional allowance (T-ZUG).
The “MM Circle World Convention” is an annual meeting of kaizen teams from all over the world in Toyohashi (Japan). There, the submitted projects are evaluated by an international jury. The participating projects are not about cost savings or the perfect execution of the project, but about the application of methods and logical procedures, teamwork, and the learning of methods. In short: the development of the team members.
The aim of the participants is to document a successful kaizen project and the development of the team members, including all “failures”, and to share these experiences with the Musashi world to make Musashi even better. The aim of the “MM Circle” is to promote cooperation, develop the participants and thus further develop Musashi as a whole.
In 2023, the “Safe Water” team from Bockenau came out on top with a project to save water and spray agent at our MT5000 and took first place. The team had already won beforehand, because the trip to Japan and the associated experience on site were worth all the effort.
Musashi Europe was represented at the 20th MM Circle World Convention 2024 in Toyohashi by a team from Füzesabony and the defending champion team from Bockenau. The Bockenau team won 2nd place with their project "Rolling Thunder". The team from Füzesabony tied for 3rd place with the team from Mexico. "Rolling Thunder" is a project to prevent drop defects on heavy forgings from the GLF 5000.
