The Swedish rolling bearing company SKF established the forging facility in Lüchow in 1971, which was acquired by the HAY Group in 2007. HAY Speed Umformtechnik GmbH supports internal forging processes and implements advanced techniques such as Hatebur forging, vertical forging, ring rolling, heat treatment of low-alloy steels and shot blasting for descaling the forged components.

In 2013, the "Metallumform Präzisionswerkstücke Group", founded as a family business in Hannoversch Münden in 1971, was also acquired.
Increase of the machining capacities as a result of the acquisition of Metaco Union Kft. in Hungary. Similarly, the HAY Group acquires the Spanish plant Forjanor S.L-Fabrica de Villalba as part of its expansion. In the same year, the Chinese plant in Tianjin, China, was completed and started their operations.
Production starts at the Hungarian plant in Füzesabony. At the same time, the Spanish plant in Villalba invests in a new cold forming press.
The Japanese concern Musashi Seimitsu acquires the European HAY Group and integrates its plants into the concern's European division.
The company is now finally known as Musashi Europe GmbH.
