Wherever metal precision components are built, chips fall. You will set up automated lathes and milling machines for the machine, gearbox and engine parts to be manufactured, write or modify CNC machine programs and check the dimensions and surface quality during the manufacturing process. If faults occur in the process, you will immediately search for the source of the fault and remedy it.

You “go all out” when it comes to technical understanding, good knowledge of mathematics and physics as well as abstract thinking skills. You are also a team player, motivated, flexible and willing to learn.
You can forge further career plans with an examination to become an industrial foreman (m/f/d) specializing in metal or a technician (m/f/d) specializing in mechanical engineering. If you have a university entrance qualification, you can also study at a university.
