Grolsheim is located at the lower Nahe between Bad Kreuznach and Bingen am Rhein. The Bingen am Rhein & Grolsheim business and industrial park in the district of Sponsheim also makes a significant contribution to the positive development of Bingen as a business location. The town of Bingen and the local community of Grolsheim joined forces in 1996 to market the approximately 120-hectare site in a special-purpose association. Around 60 companies have since settled here.
In addition to logistics services, freight forwarding companies and wholesalers, the development, production and trade of various goods are among the most important factors in this industrial estate.
