In the south-easternmost corner of Lower Saxony, the town of Hann. Münden is the second largest municipality in the district of Göttingen with around 25,000 inhabitants.
Almost everyone knows the saying from the Weser Stone “Where Werra and Fulda kiss....”. The stone has marked the confluence of the Werra and Fulda rivers to form the Weser since 1899. Hann.
